General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for ‘Between Worlds – Creative Therapies & Coaching’

1. Scope

(1) These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all contracts between Sanya Tsekov (Between Worlds – Creative Therapies & Coaching), Schreinerstr. 3, 10247 Berlin, mail@between-worlds.eu, Tel. +49 15223096 111 (hereinafter referred to as ‘Provider’) and the participants of individual and group sessions (coaching or creative therapies) as well as workshops (hereinafter referred to as ‘Customer’ or ‘Participant’).

(2) Deviating terms and conditions of the Customer shall only apply if the Provider expressly acknowledges them in writing.

2. Subject matter of the contract

(1) The provider offers individual and group sessions (coaching and creative therapy), workshops and other consulting services, which can be conducted both online and in person. The services are designed to support personality development and activate inner resources to foster well-being, self-awareness and personal growth in life and work contexts. They do not constitute psychotherapy as defined by the German Heilpraktikergesetz and do not replace medical or psychotherapeutic treatment. 

(2) The exact content, times and prices of the services are specified in the respective offers.

3. Conclusion of contract

(1) Sessions, coaching or workshops can be booked by email, online form or other agreed means.

(2) The contract is concluded upon written confirmation of the booking by the provider.

(3) The provider reserves the right to reject enquiries without giving reasons.

4. Participation fees & payment terms

(1) The participation fee depends on the respective offer and will be announced before booking.

(2) Payment shall be made by bank transfer, PayPal or another agreed means of payment.

(3) Unless otherwise agreed, the fee must be paid in full before the start of the session, coaching or workshop.

5. Cancellation & withdrawal

(1) Cancellation by the customer:

For individual sessions (both private clients and professionals)

• Up to 48 hours before the start: free of charge
• Up to 12 hours before the start: 50% of the participation fee
• Less than 12 hours before the start or no-show: 100% of the participation fee

For group sessions or workshops (private clients):

• Up to 48 hours before the first session: free of charge
• Up to 24 hours before the second session: 15% of the participation fee
• Less than 24 hours before the second session: 100% of the participation fee

For workshops for professionals/companies:

• Up to 14 days before the start: free of charge
• Up to 7 days before the start: 50% of the participation fee
• Less than 7 days in advance: 100% of the fee

(2) Cancellation by the provider:

• The provider reserves the right to cancel or postpone sessions or workshops for important reasons (e.g. illness, insufficient number of participants).
• In this case, fees already paid will be refunded or credited towards a replacement date.

6. Liability

(1) The provider is not liable for any personal, health or economic consequences of participating in the sessions and workshops.

(2) Participation is at the customer’s own risk.

(3) Liability for damages is limited to intent and gross negligence.

7. Data protection

(1) All personal data will be treated confidentially and used only for the purpose of contract processing.

(2) Data will only be passed on to third parties with the express consent of the customer or on the basis of legal regulations.

(3) Further information can be found in the provider’s privacy policy.

8. Copyright & use of materials

(1) All materials provided in the coaching or workshop are subject to the provider’s copyright.

(2) Disclosure, reproduction or public use is only permitted with express permission.

9. Applicable law & place of jurisdiction

(1) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies.

(2) The place of jurisdiction is the provider’s registered office, unless mandatory legal provisions dictate otherwise.
