Individual dramatherapy sessions

Sessions provide an intimate and safe space to explore the uncharted depths of the psyche, discovering, enacting, expanding, and transforming personal myths and stories that arise from within. The process opens access to innate restorative and healing powers, supporting the emergence of a more authentic and vibrant self, life, and relationships. It is a space to play, grow, and heal.
A variety of approaches and methods, drawing on the body, objects, narratives, and roles, allow each session to be tailored to the unique needs of the client, offering forms of expression and settings that resonate most deeply, inviting personal insight, transformation, and creative engagement.

Individual nature therapy sessions

The sessions create a space for healing and self-experience through a creative and mindful dialogue with nature, grounded in the belief that personal and collective well-being depend on this essential bond with the natural world. The process is guided by nature itself, while a creative therapist provides a contained structure, offers supportive impulses, and serves as a witness and companion throughout the session, helping to integrate insights and experiences.

Coaching

Individual systemic coaching provides a personal space to explore challenges, questions, and possibilities, supporting the journey toward desired change and goals in both private and professional life. The work draws on personal strengths, resources, and inner wisdom, fostering reflection and the emergence of new perspectives. Creative therapy methods blend dialogue with experience, imagination, and expression, allowing issues to be externalized and engaged with in a tangible, playful way. Through the body, creativity, spontaneity, and awareness of personal skills, clarity and insights naturally arise, opening the path to meaningful change.

The coaching process may include:
• Shifting perspectives and exploring alternatives for decision-making
• Practicing desired behaviors and strengthening self-reflection
• Developing visions and new ideas
• Enhancing resilience
• Finding balance between boundaries and closeness, cooperation and assertiveness, withdrawal and contact, personal needs and those of others
• Deepening understanding of intra- and interpersonal dynamics etc.

Self-experience dramatherapy groups

These weekly 2-hour sessions, running over 10–12 weeks, offer a playful yet structured framework for exploring inner worlds through stories, myths, dreams, and role-play. The focus is on spontaneous expression and creative exploration rather than performance, so no previous experience with drama or theatre is needed.
Each meeting unfolds in three parts: a warm-up, a transition into dramatic reality, an imaginative space where the not-yet-known can be encountered, and a closing ritual for reflection and integration.

Working in small groups of 4–8 participants provides a safe and contained environment that invites authenticity, connection, and depth.

Self-experience seminars in the nature

Seminars are offered as day-, weekend-, or week-long experiences for small groups. Each is designed around the seasons and nature-inspired themes, such as grounding, connection, power, initiation, renewal etc.
Through landscape journeys, rituals, arts, mindfulness-based practices, initiatory processes, forest bathing, and land art, participants engage creatively and consciously with nature and its rhythms. These experiences provide a way to connect with personal resources, inner wildness, and the deeper processes of life. See the calendar for upcoming dates and themes.

Dream-Lab

Dreams offer a bridge to the unconscious, reflecting inner processes, emotions, and experiences not always visible in waking life. Since ancient times, they have been regarded as sources of guidance and carriers of messages important for both the dreamer and their community.

The Dream-Lab provides a space to consciously and tangibly enter dreams and explore them through various artistic media, fostering new perspectives, creative insights, and a deeper understanding of oneself.

The lab is open to (creative) therapists, artists, and anyone interested in working with their own dreams. Keeping a dream diary or regularly recording dreams is recommended.

Imagination is everything. It is the preview of life's coming attractions

Self-Experience: Sometimes, 6 to 12 individual sessions may be sufficient to facilitate change and provide deep insights. Following this, a self-exploratory process can continue within a self-experience group, if desired.

Single sessions can be arranged at any time for those familiar with my work who need support or clarity on specific issues. This may include participants in the self-experience groups who wish to explore matters in a more intimate setting, as well as clients seeking occasional guidance.

Coaching: In some cases, 1 to 3 sessions can be enough to achieve the desired clarity.

Distinguishing between coaching and creative therapy can be complex, particularly as I integrate creative therapy techniques and dramatic reality into the coaching process. These approaches uniquely harness personal creativity and skills, inspiring meaningful change.

In general, coaching focuses on practical aspects of everyday life and aims for clear goals, such as decision-making, behaviour modification, or strategy development. When significant inner blockages arise, making it challenging to achieve these goals, the approach may shift to a more therapeutic direction. This transition indicates that underlying issues require systemic attention within a safe and supportive environment.

Ultimately, the central question is: Are your resources sufficiently accessible to create the change you desire, or do we first need to clear pathways to those resources? The process involves identifying core issues and determining the most effective path to achieving desired changes. This topic will be explored during the initial session, allowing us to collaboratively set future steps.

Please note that creative therapies offered here aim to develop personality and activate inner resources to foster well-being, self-awareness and personal growth. They are not a substitute for medical or psychotherapeutic treatment.

Creativity and imagination are inherent to all human beings. Playful behaviour is evident not only in humans but also in animals. The capacity to imagine, create, and play does not fade with age.

If you don’t see yourself as creative or playful, you may have been discouraged from exploring these aspects due to upbringing, life circumstances, or even the school system, which can render these vital resources unavailable. Although the idea of reconnecting with them may trigger resistance or strong feelings, it is all the more important to reawaken your creativity. Dramatherapy can be particularly beneficial in this regard, offering a safe space for exploration and allowing you to process any strong emotions that may arise.

In our sessions and workshops, the focus is on embodied action and expression rather than mere conversation. Participants are encouraged to create and explore new narratives, moving beyond familiar ones that may no longer serve them.

Creativity and imagination play a vital role in fostering connection, opening up possibilities, and safely confronting challenging situations, behaviours, or feelings. This process allows for meaningful reworking and transformation, enabling personal growth and deeper understanding.

My training at the Institute of Dramatherapy taught me to embrace the truths that emerge from bodily experience and its inherent wisdom, rather than adhering strictly to concepts. I believe that authentic connection, play, and creativity serve as powerful vehicles for change and healing, enriching and transforming everyone involved.

Initiated by two personal crises, my journey to becoming a creative therapist has been profoundly transformative. This ongoing process continues to foster a more authentic voice, deeper relationships, creative expression, and a more meaningful life. I wholeheartedly stand behind these methods and consider it my responsibility to use them in service of life, honouring my teachers and mentors.

That said, the path to the change you seek lies within you, and the responsibility rests in your hands. I will be there to see you, accompany you, support you, and inspire you, but in the end, it is your journey to undertake.
